Orff-Schulwerk is a music education programme pioneered by German composer Carl Orff (1895-1993). Orff’s theory is that children engage in active music making and learn fundamental musical concepts and knowledge through singing, speech activities, movement and dancing, as well as playing a variety of pitched and unpitched percussion instruments.
- Target: Parents and Interested People (No music background is needed)
- Duration: 6 hours
This training is suitable for anyone who is interested to know the philosophy of Orff- Schulwerk and the advantages of learning Orff Schulwerk.
During the workshop, you will learn:
- The philosophy of Orff methodology
- Lots of songs and games used in Orff teaching in both English and Cantonese will be taught
